I am a professional member of the Yorkshire Guild of Dry Stone Wallers with 20 years of walling experience around Great Britain. I have worked with limestone, slate, various regional sandstones and built Cornish hedges which are significantly different in construction to Yorkshire dry stone walls. I am also a qualified instructor in the craft of walling.
I have also studied stonemasonry and the use of traditional lime mortars which are often essential in the restoration of old buildings and walls.
I studied for the Royal Horticultural Society Diploma at Reaseheath College in Cheshire and for the last 20 years I have been working as a gardener in private gardens. I specialize in herbaceous maintenance and I love the fiddly jobs like weeding, pruning, and training.
I am a professional member of The Gardeners Guild, a national trade network for gardeners and ground workers. As I am listed on their professional register, you can be confident that I have been officially trained and formally assessed to meet high horticultural standards and hold government endorsed horticultural qualifications
